Our Story

Four decades of Italian tradition in the heart of Ceará

The Pasto & Pizzas you know today was crafted from a blend of homemade pastas, original sauces, and the rich experiences of its founder, Valdemir Alencar Feitoza: a dash of working as a waiter, a little more running his own restaurant, Marco Polo Pizza Bar in São Paulo, and a generous helping of collaboration with Italian chef Dom Ruggero.

It all began back in 1985. Today, Pasto & Pizzas has locations in Fortaleza, Eusébio and Juazeiro do Norte — and beyond offering a remarkable all-you-can-eat pasta and pizza experience, the restaurant has become a place with many reasons to visit and enjoy without restraint.

Where it all began

Valdemir Alencar Feitoza opens Pasto & Pizzas in Fortaleza at the Dom Luís location. With recipes developed alongside Italian chef Dom Ruggero and fresh daily-made pastas, the restaurant quickly becomes a city landmark.

Growth in Fortaleza

The success of the first location inspires the opening of new restaurants across different neighborhoods of Fortaleza, bringing Italian flavors to more families in Ceará.

Reaching the interior

Pasto & Pizzas expands its reach to Juazeiro do Norte, bringing the tradition of house-made pastas and pizzas to the Cariri region of Ceará.

The Emporium is born

With 32 years of history, Pasto & Pizzas opens its first Emporium: a complete gastronomic experience bringing together restaurant, artisan bakery, café, patisserie, and much more under one roof.
